Things can change in an instant and we must have the patience to wait for an eternity.There is a sweet Zen spot we find ourselves in when we desire change and also cultivate the patience to be where we are while we are there. If we can find detachment and gratitude in those moments, then we may also find that things can change rather quickly.
My creations are hand drawn. I use primarily black ink, alcohol markers, colored pencils and graphite. My inspiration comes from thinking about how I feel when I create them. I want to connect with that space again so I start another one.
Creativity has always been a part of my life. We are all connected. Connection and connectivity are themes present throughout most of my visual art. Although I do not consciously focus on this when Im creating a new piece, it becomes clear after looking at the finished piece that it has manifested. I think connection is at the heart of creation.
